Ali Marie Richardson, RYT200, RPYT, CD(DONA), DPT

Yogi. Doula. Chaser of Tiny Humans.

Ali’s passion for yoga began in her early twenties, as a way to nourish and restore her mind and body after a youth spent dancing and her first career in the Coast Guard. Now, she values her mat as a personal space for exploration without limits or fear of failure. Her goal as a yoga teacher is to challenge you physically and mentally in an uplifting and empowering way, whether in a power or prenatal class. She approaches her mat with gratitude for the communal energy and hopes you will join for some sweaty fun!

Ali’s own journey with infertility and pregnancy inspired her to dive into birth work, both as a prenatal yoga teacher and birth doula. She believes all births are natural births. A fed baby is best. And new parents are newborns, too. Be gentle.

Off the mat and outside of births, Ali enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband Matt and two daughters, running, baking and eating ice cream.

Getting this picture took ten attempts…after a childhood spent tumbling into my mother’s coffee table and many more years rolling around on my mat. Stick with your practice. Find the fun.
